Important COVID-19 Information from The Madison

In response to the continuing COVID-19 situation, we have taken numerous steps to create a joyful and welcoming experience that is also a safe one. Here are some of the measures we have instituted for the benefit of our guests:

  • All guests are subject to temperature checks and must follow mask and social distancing requirements. Guests who decline these requirements will be subject to termination of their stays.
  • We are reducing density. Only paid guests are invited to use our facilities.
  • We have removed communal seating from our indoor common space. The Madison has vast outdoor decks, of course, which provide beautiful settings for relaxation with ample space for social distancing.
  • We are employing hospital-grade disinfecting products and intensifying the cleaning protocols for all areas of our property.

Please make note of our cancellation policy during this period:

There is a 50% penalty for cancelling your stay more than 14 days prior to reservation date if you reserved your room through The Madison website or by phone. There is a 70% penalty for cancelling your stay more than 14 days prior to the reservation date if you booked your stay through a third-party website. However, at our discretion, we will issue credit for a future stay in lieu of a cancellation penalty if you cancel more than 14 days prior to the reservation date. There are no refunds for cancellations within 14 days of your reservation date.

Fire Island Pines Is Open

In the commercial district, the grocery, liquor, pizza and other stores are open, and some restaurants are offering take-out options. At The Madison, we will be offering special resort-style options for our guests. They include elegant events on our pool deck and special treats throughout the day.
