Garden Rooms—located poolside, with a wall of glass facing the pool. Penthouse Rooms—The Madison's largest and most beautiful guest rooms. Enter through a 16-foot private hallway, which opens onto sun-drenched rooms with 12-foot ceilings. The rooms overlook the pool, with glass doors providing access to juliette balconies. They feature private bathrooms, flat-screen TV, iPhone docking stations and high-speed internet. The rooms can be configured to accommodate a couple or two single people.

By Ferry:
The scheduled ferries to the Pines run hourly during summer weekend days and just a little less frequently on weekdays. The trip from the mainland to the Pines is a quintessential Fire Island experience and takes about 20 minutes. Sayville Ferries can be reached at (631) 589-0810.

The Long Island Railroad runs trains to Sayville from Penn Station all day and night.
